[[ VITAL STATISTICS: ]]

[[ A Little About Me... ]]

My name is Jeff. I could describe myself but the webcomic version would probably be more accurate than anything I could ever pen. For the impatient, however, here's the quick lowdown on the man behind the comic.

I am gamer! Hear me roar! If that didn't come across loud an clear by the Final Fantasy Stat Sheet above (looky, looky!) then I'm pretty sure we can put all confusion on that front aside. I have an inordinate obsession with Final Fantasy VII in particular and have been witnessed playing it at least annually since its release in my natural habitat (A college dormroom or my bedroom, which is set up in surprisingly similar fashion) by those wary safari-going bushmen. As far as gaming is concerned, I'm also a big fan of the rest of the Final Fantasy series (with a few glitches along the way), most of Square's classics, open-ended games of all sorts, RPGs, the occasional Shooter and Real-Time Strategy, and a handful of adventure/puzzle games. I know what you're thinking; what about the MMO's? I cold-turkeyed those shortly after the Evercrack worked its way out of my bloodstream. I've been caught delving into City of Heroes since I called it quits though. Old habits die hard. Curse you and your insane Character Creation Engine!

In the off-season (that time between gaming sessions that we all dread and fear) I can be found studying Biology at a small college and constantly questioning whether it's the right way to go. I also like to climb things. Pretty much anything with a grippable surface is targeted and ascended with gusto. Probably a result of the prior tendency, I also enjoy pitching myself off of high places. I don't know why, I just do. It makes for a fun time for people who walk by and it usually gives them some nice stories to tell around the workplace.

I've been drawing for about as long as I can remember. I've been drawing comics for perhaps three years prior to the designing of this website. That time has mostly been a long session of practicing various styles, formats, and getting used to sequential art as a medium. The main focus has always been to start a series of comics revolving around a pet project which grew from a story I wrote a few years back. The story has since grown in my head and evolved into a complete nugget of splendid which I one day want to see penned and inked. I gave a teaser episode a shot and reviewed the results, deciding it wasn't quite there yet, and thus this web comic was born!

I needed the practice and I had a bunch of zany stories that could always use an audience, so I thought a web comic would be a fantastic way to showcase my practice, get some feedback, and hopefully entertain a few folks along the way. I'm always open to suggestions and critiques (constructive only, please) and am always hoping to improve. The finished product will henceforth be on display for you all to see, so any helpful input will be taken with the highest value and utmost regard.

I love attending conventions, and feel free to say "Hi" if you see me roaming around at a con somewhere. I can also be contacted at this email address: PCJeff@pilgrimcentury.com. I only ask that you please do not send any suspicious or large attachments, spam my inbox, or otherwise abuse this means of contact. I can't guarantee a response to every email, but I will certainly attempt to read any incoming emails you may send.

Thank you again, and enjoy the comic!!!
